Description
This is an unusual lot of viscose and damask fabric scraps (over 4 pounds!) from the sewing room of a maker of liturgical vestments. They are absolutely stunning. The fabrics used to make these garments cost well over $200 per yard. There are different colors (red, pink, green, blue and a deep purple, far right, appears to be royal blue) and patterns. The shine and glimmer of these pieces is beautiful. Because they are scraps cut from new yardage, they are clean and unused. I made a 12 inch paper pieced quilt block (which is finished, can be used as a patch or candle mat!) using a paper piecing method and it came out beautifully. I have included it with the lot to inspire you! Because the pieces are small, you could use them for smaller projects although there are a few bigger lengths. See pics at end. Thank you for your interest, good luck!
